Best Naturist Beaches in the canary Islands.

This year, 2025, sees my fifth anniversary offering exclusive naturist holidays in Costa Calma, Fuerteventura.

In hindsight, starting a business at the beginning a pandemic was pretty stupid but Ive always enjoyed a challenge! At the time there were 3 apartments which soon increased to 4. With the addition of 2 pods and hot tubs this year, there are now 6 choices of en-suite accommodation at BHH Naturist Resort.

From BHH you can visit two of the island’s best naturist friendly beaches In the south of Fuerteventura, on the Jandía Peninsula. One of these is the unique Sotavento Beach, which constantly changes appearance with the tides, creating a large saltwater lagoon.

Sotavento is not just a single beach but a series of five beaches stretching over 10 kilometers along the eastern coast of the Jandía Peninsula. These beaches, from north to south, are De la Barca, Risco del Paso, Mirador, Los Canarios, and Mal Nombre.

The most important beaches in this series are De la Barca and Risco del Paso, where the impressive Sotavento Lagoon forms.

It’s astonishing that a wide sandy beach can transform into a 4-kilometer-long, half-meter-deep saltwater lagoon from one day to the next.

Our low season is traditionally June, July and August and so we are offering a 20% reduction of any apartment or nest; if you book before 28 February 2025 using the code BIRTHDAY. You just pay a deposit to reserve the dates and nothing more till four weeks before you arrive.

All the accommodation has been full this week with a regular sun-downer session that seems to be starting earlier and earlier by everyone! The gin bottles are going down and my cork storage jar is going up!

Lots of interesting conversations and making friends with other guests, with diverse backgrounds who you would probably never meet unless you were in a non sexual social nudity environment. That’s the heart of naturism for me personally, and inspires me to create a fabulous vibe and atmosphere at BHH.

There are still a couple of places available at the Ladies Retreat Weeks in April and May. The inaugural ladies week last year was a phenomenal success and a highlight of my year, so I’m so proud to be offering two exclusive weeks for ladies to enjoy the same experience in a safe environment. Newbies and experienced naturists all welcome to come and make friends for life.

I am always keen to support people less fortunate than myself, as well as an accept a challenge, so I am doing another fundraiser for Finding your Feet. (Last year I climbed Machu Picchu and together with 29 others we raised £66,000).

I am joining the Two Ball Banger Rally in April and driving 1800 miles from London to Lisbon. All in a very old, and very pink, Ford Street KA. I’m channeling my Barbie look for the challenge that takes only 5 days! Here is a link if any of you can spare a few pennies to support an Amputee for this incredible charity Finding your Feet.

Remember, there are no strangers in this world, just friends we’ve yet to meet! A naked friend is just a normal friend without the wrapper

BHH Naturist Resort is spacious, private and secluded, and a perfect setting for a Naturist Holiday.

Stay in Costa Calma, Fuerteventura to be surrounded by a natural paradise and some of the best naturist beaches in the Canary Islands.  Costa Calma naturist beach is ideal for first timers because there are many rocks and plants to hide behind for privacy.

Maybe its the sun, the holiday atmosphere, the proximity to the Sahara, the unbeatable scenery, who knows? Naturist holidays in Fuerteventura are becoming more popular, and increasingly common.

A word to the wise about Spanish Beaches and Nudity. All the public beaches in Spain are free to use, and by law are also clothing optional. (The right to be naked in any public place in Spain is a part of the human rights of every person in Spain. This includes: publicly owned beaches, rivers, forests, lakes, even streets and town squares!)
