Christmas In The Endless Summer

It’s the time of the year that feels quite surreal, where Christmas seems slightly ridiculous to experience in our endless summer. Having said that, we have utterly stunning decorations on all the roundabouts which look so beautiful at night. In Pajara, our main town, they have created an enormous and majestic Crochet tree.  The elderly ladies and residents prepared thousands of crochet squares for the last few months in memory of those who were no longer with us.

We will be 10 guests here for Christmas with plans for various celebrations which were highlighted in the UK press this week (see link).  My favourite day is always on a yacht, searching for dolphins, as well as the traditional skinny dip.  The article is very respectful and highlights naturism in a positive light despite mentioning I like eating sprouts in the nude!

Fuerteventura is a popular choice for naturists seeking winter sun for several reasons:

Mild Winter Climate: The island enjoys a mild and pleasant climate throughout the winter months, with temperatures often staying above 20°C (68°F). This makes it an ideal destination for those looking to sunbathe and enjoy outdoor activities in the nude.

Beautiful Beaches: Fuerteventura boasts numerous stunning beaches, many of which are remote and offer secluded areas for naturists to enjoy without feeling crowded.

Natural Beauty: The island’s unique and rugged landscapes, including volcanic terrain and sand dunes, provide naturists with a variety of scenic backdrops for their activities.

Legal Tolerance: Spain, including the Canary Islands like Fuerteventura, has a relatively liberal approach to naturism, and there are no specific laws against public nudity in designated areas.

Vibrant Naturist Community: Fuerteventura has a well-established naturist community, and there are opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and participate in naturist events and activities.

Overall, Fuerteventura offers a combination of favorable weather, beautiful naturist-friendly locations, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it an appealing choice for naturists seeking winter sun.

There is still some limited availability in January and with super cheap flights it’s a fabulous time to visit and top up the vitamin D and vitamin sea!

Remember, there are no strangers in this world, just friends we’ve yet to meet!  A naked friend is just a normal friend without the wrapper!

BHH Naturist Resort is spacious, private and secluded, and a perfect setting for a Naturist Holiday.

Stay in Costa Calma, Fuerteventura to be surrounded by a natural paradise and some of the best naturist beaches in the Canary Islands.  Costa Calma naturist beach is ideal for first timers because there are many rocks and plants to hide behind for privacy.

Maybe its the sun, the holiday atmosphere, the proximity to the Sahara, the unbeatable scenery, who knows? Naturist holidays in Fuerteventura are becoming more popular, and increasingly common.

A word to the wise about Spanish Beaches and Nudity. All the public beaches in Spain are free to use, and by law are also clothing optional. (The right to be naked in any public place in Spain is a part of the human rights of every person in Spain. This includes: publicly owned beaches, rivers, forests, lakes, even streets and town squares!)
